I’m Elia (it’s pronounced ee-lie-uh but honestly I respond to just about any combination of vowels). I’m a writer and editor with over three years of experience covering all things lifestyle and news, but my favorite stories to tell are about design, art, travel, and people.

I was born and raised in a small town in North Carolina, where I used to spend hours flipping through women’s magazines with my mom. To me, there was no better form of escapism than losing myself between the glossy pages of ReadyMade (RIP).

Now, I’m lucky enough to get to work in the media industry across print and digital formats, where I bring my killer work ethic, passion for the field, and keen eye to everything I do. When I’m not at my computer, I love taking dance classes, trying new recipes, belting showtunes (badly), starting DIY home projects that are way over my head, and taking long walks with my sweet, goofy dog Daisy Mae.
